Scottie Dogs and Outdoor play

For my Card Postioning Systems card this week, I pulled out some of my favorite stamps, these cuties from Pink Persimmon.
I hadn't use this scottie dog in this pose yet, just plain love these guys.
The dog is stamped with the Versafine black stamp pad and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I just love the look that gives to the dogs coat to have it shiny and raised with the embossing. The zig zag stamp is stamped directly on the patterned paper and that white scallop border is from a package of borders by Martha Stewart. There is a little bit of Aleen'es Paper Glaze on the bow, I just love what a touch of this stuff does to add a little bit of added interest and dimension.

Gotta share some photos from Sunday! I am borrowing a friends zoom lens and when I say zoom, I really mean zoom! I love how it also diffused the background.
It was a totally gorgeous day here so we were in the backyard playing with a couple of our grandkids. Maybe I should rephrase that - we all watch this little guy run around the yard. He keeps us laughing, that is for sure. We have had this jumpy horse for some time but he was not able to get on it himself before nor could he make it go. The horse came out again and here he is a pro at horse back riding!!! There is no mistaking the complete joy he had in riding this horse, I got tons of great facial expressions.

Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
