Once upon a time, like two days ago, I walked into my Michael's store and about fell over in the very first aisle! It's the Martha Stewart aisle and it was filled with new punches! Border punches and corner punches and sets of punches. Of course, I had to pick out one set since I had one coupon and so I immediately thought I needed to share what I found with my scrapping friends who also love these kinds of good things!
This card makes use of the Unscripted Sketches sketch #29 for this week.
This adorable little flower scallop circle stamp with the greeting in the middle is from Pink Persimmon. This set includes several little scallop circles with different greetings in them.
And, ta da! The punch goodness. The one I picked is a set that has a corner punch and a matching border punch. Does this look great with my Vintage Core'dinations cardstock?

And a few more photos from our recent trip up into Oregon. I LOVE to be able to spend some time on the Oregon coast. One of my favorite destinations are the lighthouses and so we stopped at a few. It was foggy and grey and that just added something so neat to the photos.
This is my favorite lighthouse of all of them, the Coquille lighthouse. They had painted it since our last visit which was fun because now my photos look different from my other visits.
This is the view from the beach below the Heceta Lighthouse. The house you see is actually the lightkeepers house. You have to walk up a trail to get to the lighthouse. The trail was worth the entire trip, it was so beautiful.

All of the beaches we stopped at had groupings of birds, mostly seagulls along the shore. I just loved how cute they looked gathering right along the waves.

I was just in Michael's last week. Managed to keep myself away from the border punches.
ReplyDeleteSafe to assume that the Martha Stewart punches work well? It's always nice to know they work well. This punch is very cool. I love the all the loops.
