Is it Christmas or Fall?

Before I share a couple cards, remember the PLAID week at Pink Persimmon.  The first project is up and it is pretty cute and useful too.

It is always fun to create Christmas cards and I love the colors of fall so here are the two cards I want to share with you today.
My CPS card for this week is Christmas themed mostly because the sponsor for this week is Sweet n Sassy stamps and this is the set that I was able to play with. I love Nativity scenes that are in silhouette like this so I was very happy to use this set on my card to go along with the sketch.
I stamped the Nativity scene with Versafine black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder and then I took a few colors of Fluid Chalk stamp pads and rubbed them directly on the white cardstock to add color.  By using more then one color I was able to get a gradient look.
For this next card, I just had to use the color combo at The Play Date Cafe! LOVE these colors together, a combination I so would not have picked on my own.  Notice the embossed dot background on this card and the other card? That is my NEW Cuttlebug embossing folder.  This is the larger dot one, it embosses a bigger piece of paper and I think the dots are a little bigger. I love it.
I stamped this sprig of Sweet Peas by PaperTrey, Inc and colored them with Copic markers so that they matched the color combo.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
