This week marks Card Positioning Systems blogs 100th sketch. I probably already told you that but I wanted to share my card for that sketch today. The team had a few different sponsors for this week and mine was this Vintage Butterfly set from Cornish Heritage Farms. DON'T forget there are give aways this week and then for a few weeks to follow so get on over there to check it out. You can even win this set that I worked with!!!
I love butterflies anyway, so I was pretty happy to be able to work with this set. It included several different butterflies and some great words or phrases.
I wanted to be able to share with you some of the coloring techniques that I used on my card. I stamped the verse on a plain white piece of cardstock and the background paper I used has a green design on a white background and so I very lightly sprayed both of these with the yellow or Mango Lemonade Memories Mist spray. It just takes the smallest little burst to get a whole lot of color and I didn't want my pieces completely colored, but with a slight spray.
