It is a sketch day - layout and card

I am going to share my Card Positioning Systems card for this week as well as a layout that I created to go along with a sketch challenge at Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker.

First off, my CPS card uses one of the brand new collections by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker.  It is named Tree Love.
This adorable little beaver is cut from one of the patterned papers and the partial scallop circle is cut from another piece that is a complete circle. Notice the sticker letters, these are new from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker too.
And for my layout, the design team at Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker was given a sketch challenge recently and this is layout that I created from the brand new Blueberry Hill collection.  I hand cut my wave design from one of the patterned papers.   You can see all of the layouts here or you can play along with the sketch challenge too to be entered to win stuff!!

And for a few photos from our weekend.
This little guy is in love with water guns and since Target had these on clearance, we picked up several.  The good thing about having several is you can fill all of them and then leave him to play!
Playing in water is high on his list of "must do" activities when we are in the backyard.  LOVED how I caught the water spray on this one.
Of course, I have to add a pic of our new cutie. Does she look like a princess already??? She also finally has a name! It is Sadie after probably 1000 other tries!
And this is our other Miss Priss! She isn't all too happy about that puppy yet so she found a great vantage place for making sure she knew what the puppy was up too.

Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

  2. I love the card. That little beaver is so cute.

Your grandson and water...they make a great team. I've got one that hates water and one that loves it. Kids sure are fun.

Glad you guys finally landed on a name for the puppy. Princess Sophie can be her full name.
