I created this around the Moxie fab stamping week challenge for a HELLO card. Now, I didn't actually stamp though, I used a digital stamp from Hero Arts that is available at 2 Peas in a Bucket. Digital stamps are fun since you can print them out in about any size that you want. I am also entering this in the Cas-ual Fridays Text me challenge.
I opened a Microsoft Word document and inserted the phone. I went from there by typing the Hello Friend words over and over for about one line and then copied and pasted those words to fill the size I wanted. I placed the phone over the text words and then decided to add the digital paper underneath all of this so I found a sunny yellow print and placed it under my other two images.
Next up, the surfboard and I used this weeks Freshly Made sketch. I just moved the side rectangle to the other side of my card.
All of my pieces on my card are digital. I just opened a Microsoft Word document and inserted all of the pieces, deciding on the size of each one. After I printed that out, I then cut out each piece.
The pieces are from an Echo Park collection named Paradise Beach. The surfboard is accented with Liquid Pearls.
How cute are those little flip flops and the sunglasses???!!! I added some Glossy Accents to the glasses.

ReplyDeleteThat is a super clever idea, using Word for those text lines!!! I really like your vintage phone card, though I haven't gotten into digis because I spend all day at a computer, so playing with paper and stamps is my relaxation.
