Yeah! A couple fun cards to share with you, both with a little bit of a "heart" theme.
I used the Freshly Made sketch for the layout of my card. That neat background paper is from Authentique.
The heart is a stamp from Hero Arts and cut with the matching die cut, the tag is cut with a Hero Arts die cut and stamped with a notebook paper stamp and the doily shape is cut with the Cricut.
Here is the Freshly Made sketch.
For this card, I wanted to use The Play Date Cafe color combination. I just love that kind of a challenge. The colors were very light so that was probably the most challenging part.
The heart is cut out with a Hero Arts die cut and the flower is cut with another die cut that matches that flower stamp.
Here is The Play Date Cafe challenge combo.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
Both great cards ... the embossing folder on your last one is so cool! I agree, it was a challenge to use colors that light. Love challenging challenges : )

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. I've never tried doing a color challenge. I'm always afraid that I won't have the right combo and it will cripple my creative processes. But I do love to see how others do it.
