The Pink Persimmon blog is hosting a sketch challenge starting on November 16th and ending November 30th. You have a chance to win stamps, how does it get better!? Check the Pink Persimmon blog for the details and for the way to submit your card. Here is my card to go with the sketch. You know how much I love using sketches so, of course, I wanted to play.
I wanted to use this big circle stamp on my card so I used a square card which changes the original sketch a little bit.

If you take a look at the Dutch Journal circle stamp, it comes with lines on it. I didn't want those for this card so I just applied ink to all of the outside of the image and then stamped it. I did emboss the black ink too, so the black was more intense.
Isn't this little house just right for a snowy roof? I applied a thick coat of the Aleene's Paper Glaze and then sprinkled a generous amount of the chunky glitter on that. I love how much of the glitter the glaze absorbs. The white dots are Bead Paint by Tulip. The tree was stamped on the background first and then the house was placed over that with foam tape for dimension.

And, here is another photo from our Oregon trip. When we stopped at Multnomah Falls it was raining so it was fun to capture this photo of my husband walking around with an umbrella. Oh, and by the way, he was supposed to be holding the umbrella over me so the camera didn't get wet!!! How is he doing?
