Stamps, embossing and punches

Gotta love tools! Can us crafters ever have too many?

I say NOT! My first card shows off some pretty cute stamps by My Favorite Things and an embossed background thanks to a PaperTrey, Inc. texture plate.
The circle background piece was created with a circle design background stamp stamped with green embossing powder and then sprayed with color sprays.  The little raindrops are created with Glitter 3-D Fashion paint by Tulip, just the right amount of glitter to make them fun.

My second card shows off my very first blog post at Just Imagine Crafts as part of the Kreaxions punches design team. Go on over there for the close-ups and the how-tos. I show some photos of punching the borders.
One thing I do want to point out though is a new product find for me. We all struggle with attaching rather bulky elements to our cards and I grabbed a little bottle of Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue. I was at my Joann craft store and I found this glue in a little trial size. I think this might be one of my new most favorite products since it does grab fast.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

Wanna share some good news!

Do you remember this project? It was one that I created for the Core'dinations booth for Winter CHA as a feature to the new Tim Holtz cardstock colors.
Well, there is a little tutorial on the Core'dinations blog to give you the pattern and directions for creating a little birdhouse like this. It was soooooo easy and fast, be sure to check out that post.
Next, my second piece of exciting news is that I am part of the new Design Team at Just Imagine/Kreaxions.  I just had to put together a card using some of my new supplies as I shared this news.
I have never been much of a fan of circle cutters but wow, let me tell you, as I first went to use the Kreaxions circle cutter, I knew this was something different. It is so easy to use. It is very small and actually doesn't look like a whole lot but it works so smoothly. I did watch the little video on the Just Imagine crafts blog to see their tips on the best way to use it.
(hint) for my large flower accent, I hand drew a flower on the back of a piece of cardstock and then cut that out)
And, here is an example of one of their 4-in-1 punches. Again, I did watch their video in order to get a better idea of the variety of ways that these punches can be used.  I love that each one of the 4-in-1 punches can be used in more then one way for different looks. This is the Fountain punch.
