CardMaker Blog Hop - American Crafts

The CardMaker blog team is showcasing an amazing collection of papers, stickers and other papercraft goodies from the Amy Tangerine Better Together collection from American Crafts.
You should have come here from Pamela's Blog.
I really wanted to use every single piece of the patterned papers in this collection.  I just love how they work together.  For my card I used five different pieces of the papers.
This collection comes with a package of foam words and I used the "hooray" word for my card.  One of my favorite things are really intense black letters and words. The flowers are from the rub on collection.
Here's a little close up of my little variety of patterns.
Given that I loved this collection so much I just had to also put together a layout using the products.  Again they are patterns that were just created to be used together.
I cut out some of the flowers from the one piece of paper.
The words are also from the collection of foam words.  The black makes such a stand out statement.
From here hop on over to Dawn's blog.

Clouds make me smile!

I wanted to use the CAS(E) this sketch for this week so I went to this adorable set of sticker elements by My Little Shoebox.
Using these super cute stickers made making my card as easy as 1, 2, 3! Seriously QUICK and easy. The cute sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.
I turned the sketch and thought that the three cloud stickers worked to match the inspiration of the sketch.
Here is the CAS(E) this sketch and turned it.

Happy Colors

I wanted to play along with a couple color challenges and both are happy, summer colors.
First off, the Colour Q combo along with some fun Hero Arts stamps.  I also wanted to have it fit the "Hey Girl" challenge at Simon Says.

This is the Colour Q combo.

Next up, The Play Date Cafe color combo along with the retro sketch for this week.

This was oh so easy with some cute Echo Park stickers.
Here is The Play Date Cafe combo.
And the retro sketch.

Some Wheat and Some Sand

First off, I wanted to play with the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger.
Does this ever look amazing?

I thought the wheat stamp reminded me of the tall glasses, I stamped them in white to go along with the whip cream and ice cream in the glasses.
After I stamped the wheat in the white ink and embossed it with white embossing powder, I sprayed the background with two colors of Smooch Spritz.  The white embossing acted as a resist.  One of the colors  is a golden yellow and that reminded me of the Trigger colors.
The band across the card and the circle with the sentiment are both colored with more spray colors.
Next off, I wanted to show off what I did with the Unscripted sketch this last week.
The sketches can be used for any craft project, I thought this one would work so great for a layout.  The zig zag circle was cut with my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  The papers and stickers are by Nikki Sivils.
