The Cat's Pajamas stamps and some pics!

What better name then "The Cat's Pajamas" for some really cute stamps that you just have to love!? They are the sponsors this week at Card Positioning Systems blog. I don't want to "think snow" and neither do you although some of you might be rather cold today but this is one of the sets that I picked to play with.
I did stamp the skater dog, the swirls and the "think snow" greeting on White Cryogen Curious Iridescent cardstock available at CutCardStock.com. I have mentioned this before, but I love stamping on this paper and I did emboss the black images and that paper is so great for embossing plus I love how it works with the Copic markers.
The swirl image was stamped once in the black and embossed and then I did some shadow stamping of the same swirl image by inking it with blue ink and stamping it a couple times. I was trying to create the look of "movement". That piece was then sprayed with a blue Memories Mist by Stewart Superior. I also outlined the swirls, some with Aleene's Paper Glaze and some with Diamond Glitter 3-D Fashion paint by Tulip. This added just a little bit of some extra accents of glitter and an epoxy look.
Gotta share a couple pics too!!!
You might remember me mentioning that our youngest grandson is in LOVE with sticks! That is the first thing he heads for when he goes out in our backyard and that is actually one of his very first words!!! Too cute! PLUS......
This beauty was in our yard this week. We have huge Bougainvillea bushes in our yard and he really liked this one.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
