I liked the CPS sketch for this last week and so while I was playing around with some Core'dinations cardstock and some techniques, I put together another card based on the sketch.
This is basically a card created with all cardstock and one stamp, yet it holds several interesting techniques.
I used a Fiskars Texture plate to create my embossed design on the golden yellow and the black cardstock. It almost looks like a waffle! Too funny! Once this cardstock was embossed and sanded the lighter yellow core color showed through. The damask image was stamped on black cardstock with yellow embossing powder and then cut out.

The black is actually Core'dinations Black Magic so after I embossed this piece, I sanded it to expose the core which for this piece is a yellow color. The circle, accent piece is a new Quickutz embossing plate, I just cut one small piece of it. This paper is from The Chocolate Box collection and it also has a yellow core. The actual card base is that same cardstock.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
