Stamping good time with Hanna Stamps and Unity Stamps

More good stuff at Card Positioning Systems blog! Our sponsor for this week is Hanna Stamps and this cutie is the stamp set that I picked out to use. I LOVE her! The patterned paper is by We R Memory Keepers. This is actually one piece, this particular piece comes with four patterns on the one piece so I just cut it so that it looks like two different patterns and thus goes with the sketch.
I stamped this image on plain white cardstock. I then also stamped it on the striped patterned paper and cut out just the coat portion. That was glued over the white stamped image. The rest of the image was colored with Copic markers. The rain drops are another stamp in the set. I coated mine with Diamond Glitter 3-D Fashion paint by Tulip. This adds just a bit of glitter to the drops.
I turned to Card Patterns sketch #18 for my inspiration for this card. The additional inspiration came with the fact that Unity stamps is their sponsor for this week so I got to do two fun things with this card. I pulled out my scraps to help mimic the sketch and I pulled out some of my Unity stamps. I have wanted to use this greeting for awhile now and this sketch was the perfect fit.
My little flower accent is an epoxy flower by Making Memories. I added it to the bow with a piece of matching ribbon.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
