What can you do with Flower Soft and stickers?

First off - don't forget about the Pink Persimmon sketch challenge in this POST. Create any kind of a card to go with the sketch and you can be in the running to win stamps! You have until the 28th of February to link your card to my blog.

Second - look what you can do with Flower Soft!
The Flower Soft team are all going to show you examples of this challenge.
The challenge is to "write" or "draw" with the Aleene's Tacky glue and then to add Flower Soft to that. The advantage is that you can "write" a name or a word, you can "draw" a flower or some other shape. Endless possibilities and so easy.
I chose to "write" the word hello with the Aleene's Tacky glue and then I sprinkled that with black Ultra Fine Flower Soft. The little container of the glue that Flower Soft sells comes with a great, little tip so that you can get in tiny spaces but it also allows you to "write" or "draw" with the glue.
Notice my punched border and my pleated paper.

And, now for the stickers - Caardvarks blog is having a challenge to use stickers on a creation. They are focusing on SRM stickers and since I didn't have any, I got into my stash of stickers and pulled out these Mrs. Grossmans vehicle stickers.
I paired my school bus and school sign with these October Afternoon patterned papers and this amazing NEW embossed cardstock by Core'dinations and Cosmo Cricket. I did place my stickers on white cardstock and then I cut out around the shapes. I wanted my little image to be more sturdy and then I could also add them to my card with foam tape for some dimension.
Notice the black cardstock with the letters on it. That is the Cosmo Cricket embossed cardstock. All I needed to do to it was to sand it and the letters just pop out.

Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
