Parties and Friends

Our Saturday included a stop at a cupcake shop! Can you say YUM?!
And, now it is time for another Card Positioning Systems sketch card.
Since I just visited one of my local scrapbook stores, I just had to use some of the supplies I picked up - NEW goodies from My Mind's Eye.

The patterned paper, the bracket sticker, party tickets stickers and the loopy border sticker are all My Mind's Eye.

And, I also need to share my card using the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger. This gave me the perfect excuse to pull out my BRAND NEW GemStone cardstock from Core'dinations.

The Tuesday Trigger had a little birdie in it, so I thought this Cuttlebug embossing folder was a good fit on this cardstock that has a wonderful glimmer and shine to it and wowie, does it emboss wonderfully.

The trigger piece also has some red flowers so I wanted a very intense red flower on my card. It is two layers of red vellum. The bottom flower is a punched out scallop circle. The second layer is a punched out circle and I clipped INTO the circle may times with my scissors. I then took each strip and curled it up tight towards the middle. Since it is vellum, it holds the curl real well.

Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
