Get ready - new Pink Persimmon stamps

And you are going to LOVE them! This week, Pink Persimmon is revealing their new stamps, a few at a time and having a give away. I am going to share with you two of the new sets and my cards that I created with them.

You can see these posted on the Pink Persimmon blog along with two other new sets. And, you also want to visit there because they are giving away some sets too!!
Now only are all of these little baby clothes just plain adorable but do you see those tiny clothespins??? Be still my heart!
I wanted you to see the layers that I created. I actually put a line of string on my card and then placed the clothes on foam tape so they would look like they were hanging with the little clothespins along the top.
And, I can't seem to get enough banner stamps lately so this set makes me very happy. The banners already have letters in them and come in sets of words so you don't have to try to place them together! How cool is that. There is another set of banners with just individual letters too. These are shown on the Pink Persimmon blog. The hearts are from a previous set by Pink Persimmon.
I placed my string of banners on my card after I stamped them, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out. I then ran a line of zig zag machine sewing along each one so they looked like they had been strung up along my card.
For this card, I pulled out the little row of ducks from the baby clothes set. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out. The sentiment is from another new set by Pink Persimmon and you can see that on the blog too.
Are these guys just too cute!

And a few more pics from our drive through the Redwoods
Looking up at the tops of the trees with the sun shining through is so amazing.
See my husband walking there? Paths like this wander all through the area.
I put the camera on the bottom of one of the trees and took the photo looking up this giant.
Another photo of one of the paths we walked, catching a glimpse of my husband up ahead of me. He really wasn't all that far ahead, those trees are just gigantic and so dwarfed him.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

  10. Linda - first thing: your grandson is gorgeous and I know he brings you all kinds of happiness. Second thing: how did you create the bottom scalloped edge on your darling ducklings ("sweet baby") card?
