Gotta share my Mini Banner card

I put together the last Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger along with these adorable, mini banner stamps by Pink Persimmon.
The Trigger has adorable chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling but I thought that by using these cute banner stamps and stamping them in colors, I could get a similar look. The set of banner stamps come with a solid banner for each of the alphabet letters and there are numbers too. What I like about the solid banners is that these can be stamped in any color.
I cut each one out and then placed them on my card front, trying to mimic the colors in the trigger. I added little dotted lines at the ends to make them look like they are hanging. The background paper is a ledger print by BasicGrey.

AND, I just have to share these photos with you today.
This little girl came to our house yesterday. She is why we were visiting the Human Society the other day, we just had to wait for a yard check. She is sooooo the cutest!
Our granddaughter got to meet her for the first time when she got home last night. It was love at first sight for both of them.
She is part Dachshund and part Basset Hound and she doesn't have a name yet. We are waiting to see what we think fits her and there are four of us deciding so this has been a trial already!
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

  1. She is so cute. Looks like you are all in for a lot of love from her. That face is amazing.

And...what a lot of work you put in on this card. It is very cool, but I can't imagine how long it took you to cut out each banner. At least they were triangles. Great job.
