Dymo Labeler Scrapbook contest
And I wanted to share a simple Valentine's Day themed card since that day is fast approaching! This was actually Sketch #50 from Card Postioning Systems blog.
I so love a Harlequin kind of design so this one was easy for me. I used a diamond shaper punch to punch out my pieces from patterned paper. Self Adhesive pearls accented my pieces and the letters are naked chipboard that I covered with Aleene's Paper Glaze by Tulip. When you add this liquid Paper Glaze to the spot you want it on, in this case each chipboard letter, it stays on the piece without running all over the place and dries with an epoxy, 3-D look.
Speaking of CPS, our 100th sketch and our 2nd birthday party are both fast approaching so a BIG party is soon to begin with sponsors and fun give aways. Don't miss out on this one!!! There are some details on the Card Positioning Systems blog today, check this out.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

This card is stunning! I love the harlequin. I love the Paper Glaze on the naked chipboard too. I use the stuff all the time, but never would have though to used it over plain chipboard. The effect is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the contest and thanks for letting us know -- I've voted! ;-) I love my new Caption Maker Dymo Labeler (just need to use it more)! Beautiful card, too -- love the harlequin!
