Signs and the Wave

Somehow when we encountered this sign along the coast of Oregon, it did not bring comfort!!! I just had to take a photo!
Now for the "WAVE". There are so many milestones a baby goes through and learning to wave is one of them. It was fun to catch these adorable photos of our youngest grandson getting the idea.
It seems one of my favorite layouts for a scrapbook page is one larger photo for emphasis and then accenting that with some smaller photos.
I used an index size so that I could use some of the other really cute photos.
I wrote the word "wave" on white cardstock with a blue pen. That was outlined with a fine tip black pen and then I coated the word with Aleene's Paper Glaze. I love the epoxy look that gave my word although it is a little hard to see very well here.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

  3. I'm very impressed when anyone does lettering by hand. Not my forte.

We are still trying to get our little grandson to wave. He waves good bye to "The Backyardigans" on TV...but won't wave to us. We are getting close. How wonderful to have it documented.
