It is MOVIE night at Gina K stamps!

The design team at Gina K stamps is hosting a challenge and that is to create a card using some Gina K stamps and to pick a favorite movie as the inspiration behind the creation.

I get to play with Tami Mayberry's new set, Oh Boy, and when I went to think of a movie that would be fun to highlight with this set, The Polar Express came to mind. One of the main reasons is that we went to Sea World this last Christmas and the 4D show was The Polar Express and they did such a fun job with it that I have some great memories.

There are a few main ingredients that I thought helped the little train stamp fit this movie. One is the dark blue cardstock for a background to look like night. The other is the punched out white snowflakes that are falling and the little moon stamp that also tells you it is night.

When I looked at photos from the movie, the train windows were lighted like the lights were on inside and so I colored the window with yellow colors. I made my own little train track by cutting strips from black cardstock and I also stamped a couple little puffs of smoke to follow the train. I used Glitter 3-D Fashion Paint by Tulip to accent the moon and the puffs of smoke.
