The challenge at JustRite stamps for this week is to create a project with "KIDS" in mind. I picked lots of pink, ribbons, rhinestones and scallops. The ingredients for a very "girly" project.
I created a little card with a matching candy bar, wrapped in papers. This works for either a party invitation and party favor or a little birthday card and matching gift.
The little "princess" piece with the border is a stamp by JustRite stamps. It is a two piece stamp on an oval block. I inked it with pink and I also embossed it with clear embossing powder. That was then punched out with an oval punch and then layered with another oval punch and a scallop oval punch. I just ordered this yummy seam binding ribbon from an Etsy store, Petite Paperie Shoppe. I was so happy with how perfect it was to add to my "girly" look. The design of my card was created to fit the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch #52.
This is my covered candy bar. It was so easy to make it matching with the same papers and the same little stamped and punched accent piece.

Yesterday, we experienced gray skies, heavy marine layer, some rain and then big white fluffy clouds. A day just made for taking pics!!!
I loved the outline of the dark palm trees against the interesting sky.
We got blue skies for a little bit with these amazing, white fluffy clouds off of the coast.

The marine layer was thick as I visited our marina, I love the reflections in the water in both of these photos.

How cute is that umbrella, and also the little guy under it, if he's the same one in many of your photos. I always enjoy them and often share them with my hubby.
