First up is my Card Positioning Systems card for this week. This is where the "BOY" part of my post comes in.
The sponsor this week was Simply Betty stamps. Her stamps come in digi and in the real thing so that is pretty cool. Is this guy ever CUTE! I used my Cricut for the "You Rock" sentiment.
I colored most of him with Copic markers and then stamped the shirt portion on patterned paper so he had a striped shirt. There is a little dinosaur image on the front of his shirt, that is part of the stamp.
Now for the "girly" portion of this post, I used some of the new Wild Flowers Die Cut Dimensions by Flower Soft. The flowers are actually on one end of a label shape. I cut the label at an angle and stamped the sentiment by Printworks.
Notice the layers in the flowers? Portions of the flowers on the punch out label pop out and each image in the set comes with extra parts so you can layer some of them. What was cool is I used Helmar's Scrap Dots to attach my layers. This is the perfect glue for this.
You seriously cannot even believe how quick and easy it is to put a card together with these amazing products.
Now for a couple photos of our 4th...
We played in the water! The day was just amazing for that. He loves squirting with this water gun. However he does no like to be squirted!!!
And, yes we went to find some fireworks. Our college has a show and we usually find a spot in the parking lot. That always works great.
