Tiny Bees and Red Roses

We were doing some sight seeing this week and one of the stops was a gorgeous garden. Roses everywhere along with all kinds of other flowers and of course, BIG black bumble bees. I always love to see that.  So that leads to the title I used to share my cards today

This first card is my CPS card for this last week.  I was just in one of my scrapbook stores as they were unpacking this new collection from Echo Park and I knew I needed these papers! These are the smaller version of the full size papers.
See those tiny bees and then that great honeycomb print? LOVE these.  I paired them with a Spellbinder Nestabilities. When I slightly sanded the cardstock, the embossed design in that pretty circle shape showed up.  I also used a very large, black button I have had in my stash for awhile.
Next, I want to share my Unscripted sketch card. I pulled out some new to me October Afternoon rub-ons and papers.  These prints are from their 8" pad and I even cut the roses out of one of the papers.
See that little fence die cut! Yes, I just had to use my Cricut again. Love how easy it is to cut out just the right accent in just the right paper and just the right size! The bike is a rub-on from the set and I used an EAD Designs/Paper Smooches rub-on for the sentiment. Take a close look at the punched corners on the long strip. I used one of my Kreaxions 4-in-1 punches for that.
