Blog Crawl and Moxie Fab

Today is the day!!!!!

You are going to be completely amazed as you "crawl" along, getting glimpses of some amazing projects. Start at Nikki Sivils blog, hop on over to Jillibean's blog and Bella Blvd's blog. These three companies want to share some amazing goodness, both in give aways and ideas. Leave comments to be in the running to win stuff. You will find complete instructions when you visit one of the companies blogs.
I want to share a couple of things with you today and they revolve around this amazing Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab, Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker products and even some Flower Soft.
This is the Tuesday Trigger that Cath posted this week at Moxie Fab. I think I could easily create ten cards from all of the amazing details in this piece but I did put together two.
For this card, I pulled out the colors and the flowers that are in the trigger piece. The papers are from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. The card is also based on 2 Sketches 4 You sketch #47.
The daisy shaped flowers are from a stamp set by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. I colored them in shades of pink and the middles of the flowers are the adorable cordouroy brads that Nikki Sivils has. I added a pearl to the middle of each of the flowers. The pearls were white and I used a Copic marker to make them match my colors!
For this card, I used the little picture of the tall, thin glasses filled with a pink drink. There is also a glimpse of something bright green in that photo. Notice the card base and the design in it. I used a piece of Core'dinations cardstock from the Vintage collection. I used my brand new Martha Stewart Score tool to create the lines in the card. Because you only have to sand this cardstock to expose the core, this makes a fun and easy accent. The pink piece is cut using a Nestabilities, I thought that was sort of tall and skinny like the glasses and I embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The butterfly is a stamp by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. I love this butterfly because it is such a different shape. I colored it with Copic markers and can you see the amazing details!? That is Ultra Fine Flower soft! LOVE what a little bit of this does to an image.
AND...This just in...Check out this article that Shemaine did for the Los Angeles Examiner regarding Flower Soft. She used a couple examples I did for her little article. Look HERE

Wow! Linda, these are both SO PRETTY!!! Your attention to detail is amazing! I love the courdory brads in the centers of the flowers, the way the scored lines look on the Core'dinations cardstock, and the ultrafine Flower Soft on the butterfly wings! Great job!
