I want to share a couple of things with you today and they revolve around this amazing Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab, Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker products and even some Flower Soft.
This is the Tuesday Trigger that Cath posted this week at Moxie Fab. I think I could easily create ten cards from all of the amazing details in this piece but I did put together two.
For this card, I pulled out the colors and the flowers that are in the trigger piece. The papers are from Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. The card is also based on 2 Sketches 4 You sketch #47.
The daisy shaped flowers are from a stamp set by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. I colored them in shades of pink and the middles of the flowers are the adorable cordouroy brads that Nikki Sivils has. I added a pearl to the middle of each of the flowers. The pearls were white and I used a Copic marker to make them match my colors!
LAZY DAYZ card
Materials:
Cardstock – Vintage/Core’dinations
Patterned paper – Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker
Butterfly stamp – Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker
For this card, I used the little picture of the tall, thin glasses filled with a pink drink. There is also a glimpse of something bright green in that photo. Notice the card base and the design in it. I used a piece of Core'dinations cardstock from the Vintage collection. I used my brand new Martha Stewart Score tool to create the lines in the card. Because you only have to sand this cardstock to expose the core, this makes a fun and easy accent. The pink piece is cut using a Nestabilities, I thought that was sort of tall and skinny like the glasses and I embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The butterfly is a stamp by Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker. I love this butterfly because it is such a different shape. I colored it with Copic markers and can you see the amazing details!? That is Ultra Fine Flower soft! LOVE what a little bit of this does to an image.
