Red, White, Blue and SUN

It's that time of year when we are thinking about Red, White and Blue. My first card that I want to share fits for celebrating the Fourth of July.
The text embossed cardstock is Core Impressions by Core'dinations. Isn't it just perfect on here?
My flower is actually the large Banner stamps by Pink Persimmon. I so love these banner stamps because there are several patterns, you pick the colors. The black, stitching outline is one of the stamps.
This card was created to fit the colors at Colour Q and the design fits the Get Sketchy sketch. It was fun to use the red, white and blue colors but the card isn't necessarily for the Fourth.
The red paper along the top is actually cut from a shaped piece of paper. It was the perfect piece to fit the sketch.
And my "SUN" card is my Card Positioning Systems card for this week. I just turned the sketch on its side.
The sun is cut from patterned paper and accented with White 3-D Fashion Paint by Tulip. I just love the accent of little white, raised dots.
The letters for "splash" and all of the black words are SRM stickers. They made it so easy to give the finishing touches to my card.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

Love the look you achieved with the Coredinations C/S .... What a fun "blossom" as well! And that sunshine will be the smile-maker indeed for someone!
