Christmas time

I know it is July but Unscripted sketches is hosting Christmas in July this month and you really should check out what is going on since this includes lots of ideas.
Here is this weeks sketch. I did make a card but I can sure see this working for a layout too.
And, here is my card using the sketch AND one of Nikki Sivils, Scrapbookers newest collections - Gingerbread Land.  It is so cool to share it with you.  (You can see all of Nikki Sivils new collections for CHA here.)
This little tree is a die cut in the collection.
This layout also uses some of the papers from the Gingerbread Land collection plus the little gingerbread men are stamps from a new set too.  I LOVE the pinks in this collection.
And some photos...
We went to the beach this week.  Grandma took two of our grandkids to one of the beaches closest to our house.  What else should you do at the beach then to make sand castles?
You can tell he was having a whole lot of fun, love the footprints in the sand.
Sissy was showing her little brother how to dip your toes in the ocean, he was a bit hesitant to begin with.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
