I am so excited to share my project today.
I pulled out my #904 Kreaxions 4-in-1 punch, my Kreaxions circle cutter and my Kreaxions butterfly die. Let me explain.
I love the butterfly die, it is such a great size. I took a piece of plain white cardstock and embossed it with my brand new sizzix honeycomb embossing folder. Once it was embossed, I then took the butterfly die and cut out the butterfly. Next I took my Broken China Distress Stain by Ranger and colored this piece of cardstock. LOVE the finished look.
Do you also see the punched half circle? I used my Kreaxions circle cutter to cut out a circle and then I took the #904 punch and punched around the edge. I then cut this piece to fit on the front of my card as a half circle.
For my borders going down the front of the card, I took a piece of plain white cardstock and punched both edges. The colored papers were then added to the middle of this punched piece. I used the same punch for the border and the circle but for the border I only let a portion of the punched design show. This makes one punch have more looks to it. The little sentiment is a stamp by Hero Arts.
I used the Colour Q color combo for the inspiration for my card. The blue piece on the card really does match the Wisteria in the colour combo, it was just hard to get it to photograph correctly for some reason.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)
