Polka Dots and Stripes

First off, I want to share my Card Positioning Systems sketch card for this week.
Gina K stamps is the sponsor and I picked an adorable set by Tami Mayberry, Perfect Pennants.  I paired the stamps I used with some great October Afternoon papers.
I stamped the pennants, the banner piece and the sentiment is black and embossed all of them with clear embossing powder.  I then rubbed the pieces with a yellow, Marvy stamp pad.  My favorite one is that great, honeycomb looking pennant!
This card also fits the Getting Cricky Banner Sunday Challenge.
Next us, a card using some Paper Smooches stamps.  I am going to submit it to Paper Smooches for their guest design team member search.

The cloud and the sentiment were stamped on cloud patterned paper.  The scooter was stamped on white cardstock and then again on this polka dot patterned paper by Graphic 45.  I colored the white image with Copic markers and cut out portions of the scooter from the polka dot paper and glued those in place. LOVE that woodgrain paper!
Gotta share a really cute photo...

Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

And how cute is that scooter card? Love the wood grain and love the paper piecing. Really adorable way to do the sentiment, too.
