Sunny Day

Be sure to check out the rest of the bakery boxes at Pink Persimmon. Each day a new one has been posted and they are CUTE!!!!
The sun is out today! YEAH! If you watch the news, you probably know that Southern California has had some serious downpours all week. SOOOO...A happy, sunny card to celebrate!
Moxie Fab blog has been talking about cards that are decorated on the outside and the inside and so I thought I would share this card that was published by Paper Crafts magazine in the past. This is the inside. The words were printed on a transparency and then that was placed over the patterned paper. The chipboard flower has some punched circles glued to it to create the happy face piece.
On the front side of the card, I created a round hole so that the happy face is visible when the card is closed.

And for a couple photos from our week! We have had the sickies here.
Our youngest grandson has ended up spending almost all of the week in the hospital for pneumonia and related issues. At first he just wanted to sleep but his oxygen levels need some help still.
This is called finding-more-games-to-play-to-keep-a-little-guy-occupied-while-attached-to-a-machine! After we played with these flash cards like you are supposed to, other uses came into play like throwing them up in the air to see where they land!
With our storms, the waves at the beach have been unbelievable. I wanted to share a couple of them.
On a normal day, the waves don't come anywhere near this close to the pier.
BUT.....
I did find an amazing example of spring right here in Ventura! Some Magnolia trees in bloom.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

Hope your grandson recovers quickly. My oldest had pneumonia when he was little, it can be so scary.
