AAA Cards Blog Hop

AA Cards is featuring a week full of fun, starting with a blog hop among the team members. You might have come here from the Desert Diva's blog.

The MacGyver Challenge is full of games and huge prizes from Stampendous so be sure to check out the AAA Cards blog for all of the details.
Here is my card that uses all the parts of the MacGyver challenge, string, corrugated paper, a stamp, a hole and plastic.
I received a package this week and knew right away I had to keep part of the box.  This was the perfect backdrop for my card.  Those adorable daisies, that cute little tag and the sentiment are from a stamp set by Stampendous.  I kept the coloring very simple by touching the image here and there with Distress Stains.
This wonderful stamp set is the give away from my blog.  You need to answer this question to be in the drawing:
What do you create the most - Cards, Layouts, Other projects?

Be sure to read all of the details on the AAA Cards so you can maybe be one of the winners.
From here, hop on over to Vicki Dutcher's blog.
Thanks for visiting, Linda (lbpost)

  3. Linda, you've made an absolutely eye-catching, inspired and innovative card with these elements! MacGyver himself would be nodding his head in extreme admiration; no way could he create something so extraordinarily unique! Fabulous and inspiring! What a wonderful hop this is! Off I go to see what's next...Happy Sunday!

  6. Lovely card, Linda!!! Love the turquoise with the kraft and dark brown and yellow!!!! And the little heart is so darling!!! Also like the way you have added the colour to the daisies!

What do I create most?? That's a difficult one .. hmm, sometimes cards, sometimes layouts, sometimes knitting and crocheting, sometimes being creative with other DIY projects ...such a lot to do, but I think my favourite is my cards!!!

    Have a lovely week!!

  11. Oh, Linda, I do love how you did the color staining on the image. That's just fantastic! As to your question, without any doubt I do mostly cards these days. 5 years ago, my answer would have been very different (mostly other projects, a bit of scrapping and almost no cards) but cards have just taken over everything else. I love making them, selling them, giving them away for others to use, and using them myself for family and friends. Nothing pleases me more than to see the pleasure others get from receiving a hand made card. :-D

  12. Love the card. i do need to think about mine now really, been too busy blog hopping. I was mostly a scrapbooker for many years.. then went onto cards and then did both.. (time consuming) but now it does tend to be cards with a few mini albums in tow x

  18. Oh wonderful! I went yesterday and dug around in the garage and got a box but that's as far as I got because life intervened in my creative spree! Hope to get to play today though!
I definitely do CARDS - I don't have the patience for scrapbooking layouts!

  19. Gorgeous. Love the simplicity and your choice of colors. I myself tend to
make cards mostly but occasionally I also make "aprons" for bottles (which
act as cards at the same time).

  20. I normally create cards the most but this summer I set a goal to complete 150 scrapbook layouts - I am happy to say that I have completed 106 layouts!! So for this summer - Layouts, but usually cards!! Your card made me smile so big - love the daisies, and the fussy cutting - just everything about this card was pleasing to me!!
